PE-Services Grows Dallas Office

PE-Services is pleased to announce the addition of a new Regional Representative to their Dallas office.

Kevin Rudolph joined the PE-Services' team at the beginning of 2010 and will handle client contact for existing and potential clients throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth market.

PE-Services has been in the Dallas market since the end of 2008 and have built many great relationships with architects in the area. "We look forward to continuing to build our national presence by becoming a key player in the MEP engineering sector of the Dallas/Ft. Worth market," states Craig Slaughterbeck, VP of PE-Services. Craig has been the primary client contact for the firm in the region and he will continue to help build great relationships with clients throughout the southern United States from the Dallas office.

PE-Services Appoints New VP of Operations

PE-Services recently appointed Scott Csendes as their new VP of Operations. “As we continue to grow and strive to become a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering firm with a strong national presence, we are certainly a lot closer to that vision with the addition of Scott to our team,” said Trent Beighle, President of PE-Services. He continued, “Scott is a proven leader in our industry and has helped other national firms with the same exponential growth we expect to see in the coming years.”

Csendes comes to the firm with over 20 years of experience with a national architectural and engineering firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served most recently as the Chief Operations Officer. “I’m excited to be here,” says Scott Csendes, “having worked with PE-Services in the past as a client, I was always impressed with how they stood out from the rest of the MEP consultants. They delivered creative solutions for even our most atypical projects and consistently performed above my expectations; proving to be a valuable partner to our firm. I look forward to enhancing these strengths and helping to bring PE-Services to the next level.”

As VP of Operations, Csendes will oversee PE-Services operations nationwide and will be based out of the headquarters in Lebanon, Ohio. “We believe Scott will be a tremendous asset not only to PE-Services but to our clients as well. Perhaps the biggest reason for adding him is the improved service and efficiency to our clients, which I believe he will bring to the operations of PE-Services.” said Trent Beighle.

The Things We’ll Do For A Good Cause

Our very own Brian Selander ran in a skirt this past Saturday, September 19th at the Beef O’Brady’s 5k run. Yes, a skirt. Brian presented a fun challenge to his friends at PE-Services. If he could raise enough funds to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, he would run this race in a skirt. The family here at PE-Services couldn't let that challenge go unanswered, plus, the donations were going to support a worthy cause. We are happy to say that Brian kept his promise. It was a fun day for all who came out to run with Brian and cheer him on.

The donations went to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to help fund research to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. This money also goes to people who have already been diagnosed with one of these diseases to help them live a higher quality of life. Let's cheer Brian on as he continues to raise additional funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Getting fit is a priority at PE-Services

As part of a new company initiative, the team at PE-Services has joined together in an effort to live a healthier, more fit life. "Providing healthy initiatives for our employees is an important part of the company culture," says Trent Beighle, President of PE-Services. "We want everyone here to use these great benefits as a way to eat smart, stay in shape, and live a more healthy lifestyle."

As part of the "Get Fit" campaign, PE-Services sponsors for each employee - two marathons per year, 50% of Weight Watchers fees, and 50% of YMCA or fitness club membership.

The team just got back from the P.F. Changs Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon in Phoenix in January. Everyone finished and achieved their own personal goals. "It's great to have a group of people working together toward a common goal. Plus, it makes it a lot easier to get out their an run when you have folks supporting you." said Craig Slaughterbeck, VP of PE-Services.

Grand Opening Celebration a Huge Success

On Tuesday, September 9th, PE-Services celebrated the grand opening of our new corporate headquarters in Lebanon, Ohio. The new office is located at 9 North Broadway, deep within the heart of downtown Lebanon, close to many retail shops and restaurants.

Trent Beighle, President of PE-Services says, "This is an exciting step in our company's growth. This is a great opportunity for PE-Services to provide a better environment for our team and better service to our clients in Ohio and throughout the country."

PE-Services Supports 2008 Red Hot Blues Run (August 2008) PE-Services is a proud sponsor of the 3rd annual Red Hot Blues Run held on Saturday, August 2, in Lebanon, Ohio. All proceeds will benefit Lebanon's park system. In addition to sponsoring the event, the entire company plans to participate in the run.

“It’s a great event that provides us with the opportunity to come together as a company, have fun, and support a great cause.” says Trent Beighle, president of PE-Services. The race is held in conjunction with the Blues Festival, which includes great music, food and fun all located in historic downtown Lebanon.

The AEC-IEC provides programs and activities designed to promote harmony, understanding, and unity among Electrical Contractors of Central Ohio. In addition, the organization supports opportunities for quality education and training, striving to uphold practices and principles that protect free enterprise.

Our New Headquarters - Home Sweet Home

PE-Services purchased the historic Good Housekeeping building in downtown Lebanon, Ohio. Trent Beighle, President of PE-Services says “The building is undergoing an extensive interior renovation to both the first and second floors which should be completed by mid-summer 2008.” Trent continues, “This will allow for the complete relocation of the firms corporate headquarters.”

Currently based in Fairborn, Ohio, the move to Lebanon will provide a more centralized location between Dayton and Cincinnati. Craig Slaughterbeck, VP of Retail Design says, “The Lebanon office will give our firm a greater presence in Cincinnati, while allowing us to continue to expand our national exposure.” With offices currently in Minnesota, Florida, and Columbus, PE-Services will be growing their market exposure while maintaining a commitment to their roots in southern Ohio.

The transaction is a great opportunity for both parties involved as well. The previous owner, Marilyn Haley, will maintain a retail space on the Broadway storefront, supporting the charm and appeal that downtown Lebanon is so well known for. “The two primary markets for PE-Services, retail and hospitality, are mainstays of downtown Lebanon making it a perfect fit for our firm.” says Brent Grilliot, VP of Hospitality Design.

The Good Housekeeping building was built in downtown Lebanon in the 1800’s. Trent agrees that the fit is tremendous for their firm, known for their unique blend of old fashioned service and the desire to always meet or beat clients’ schedules. Trent says, “The new historic location will allow for a symbolic marriage of our desire to provide 19th century service at 21st century speed.”
